Today the kea team was doing garden to table today are task was to make a recipe of Takihi it was fun.

Today the kea team was doing Hyperbole. Hyperbole is something dramatic and something that is not true like 100 years. for example i could eat the whole world it,s not true and it Means your very very hungry

I used shapes to make the planets and the helmet of my person. I tried to make planets look good but it didn't have shapes that i needed. i made this on google slides

Wow! The team is learning about gravity did you know that gravity pulls you to the ground? The kea team did some experiments. So we got two items and then we put in the same width and the same height. We dropped both of the items and wrote our results on a piece of paper we did a block and a lego the lego hit the ground first.

Science Fair

Last term Kea had a science fair. My group was doing glaciers.

Tornado writing

On Saturday 19th of June 2021 there was a tornado. we were learning about Tornadoes we did some writing about it and we did a experiment in the bottle we did a twirling vortex.

 TSUNAMI EXPERIMENT

On monday kea had a Tsunami Experiment. We needed scrunched paper, water, sand, leaves and twigs. We got into a group and got our tray. We put the scrunched paper on one side then we put sand on top of the paper So it can look like an island.

Next, we put a tall tower with a bioshield in front of the tower so it can protect it. We used blocks and a bommy knocker. We put water on the other side of the tray and got a cardboard for the test.

Finally we all said ¨ three! Two! One! Go! ¨ whea sam made massive waves...

This is my groups earthquake we used 2 rubber bands, 4 small balls and 2 cardboard. we used lego to build our town when we were done we shook it and it all broke down.
 

 

kea market day

Last week friday we had a huge market day we had it n the hall at 1:50 - 3:00 the 9th April. We were selling koko laisa and stress balls when the parents started to come in the hall some of them bought mostly koko laisa. 

Next, we were selling lots of koko laisa but then we sold out. We just had the stress balls. we were doing market day for camp then the hoiho team came and bought our product and did not. But i had to go home with my parents. 

Finally, we went back home i was talking about the market day and also camp. my group made $98 at market day. I am happy that my group managed to make $98 for camp.
